‘Arteta doesn’t have discipline, that’s why we all call Him a ‘BABY COACH’,If I were Him, this particular player would sit on the bench for four straight matches’: Tottenham head Ange Postecoglou reveals the only Arsenal who performed rubbish despite their massive win against Burnley.

Bukayo Saka has been advised that his penalty in Arsenal’s weekend hammering of Burnley was “not convincing”.

The winger scored two of his team’s five goals at Turf Moor, including a first-half penalty kick. His shot beat Burnley goalkeeper James Trafford, although it wasn’t the most dramatic penalty Saka had ever scored. As a result, former Tottenham manager Tim Sherwood chastised the winger for leaving Arsenal fans with “your heart in your mouth”.

Saka has proven to be a bright spot for the north Londoners as they look to win the title for the first time in two decades. He remains one of their top goal threats and has taken up penalty duty in recent seasons, despite his last effort not pleasing everyone.

Sherwood, who previously managed Tottenham, told Premier League Productions: “It’s up to Saka, and this isn’t convincing.” It’s convincing enough when it nestles behind the goalkeeper and finds the back of the net, but if you’re an Arsenal fan, you’d have your heart in your mouth at that point.

“That was a bad penalty. Look at the goalkeeper; he should save it. I mean, it’s gone underneath his hand. But, in the end, it went into the back of the net.”

Saka has suffered heartbreak from penalties, having missed the winning chance when England lost to Italy in the Euros final at Wembley Stadium.

Since then, he’s been ruthless from the spot, converting several difficult penalties, including one that helped Arsenal defeat Liverpool last season. His sole miss came in last season’s 2-2 draw with West Ham at the London Stadium. This year, he’s gone four for four.

Saka’s brace in the win over Burnley helped Arsenal keep up with Liverpool, who are only two points ahead of them. Despite scoring twice, the winger was unable to locate the elusive third goal that would have given him his first career hat-trick, but he is sure that the treble is within reach.
