Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta used Trossard on the left of a three-man assault in a 4-3-3 formation. The winger scored the Gunners’ third goal. The North London club won 5-0.

Rio Ferdinand, a former Manchester United defender, was watching the game for TNT Sports and was impressed by Trossard. He believes the £20 million (Sky Sports) former Brighton and Hove Albion winger is an unsung hero for Arsenal.

Ferdinand stated of Trossard on TNT Sports 1 (2:41 p.m., January 20, 2024): “I agree with Martin. He’s definitely an unsung hero. I believe he is a player who brings something unique to the team and enjoys scoring goals.

However, as he showed against Crystal Palace in the London derby on Saturday, Trossard is a valuable asset who can come into the team and make an impact. He is an important source of goals.

The 29-year-old winger has scored four goals and given one assist in seven starts and 10 substitute appearances in the Premier League this season. He has also scored two goals and given one assist in four starts and one substitute appearance in the UEFA Champions League.
