Karim Benzema has been spotted in LONDON today as he prepares to sign a six-month loan contract with Arsenal. There is excitement at LONDON Colney as fans anticipate the arrival of the Ballon d’ior winner.

Arsenal should make a loan approach for Al-Ittihad striker Karim Benzema, who is thinking about returning to Europe this winter.

This month, the Gunners are looking for a marquee center-forward in order to strengthen their prospects of winning the Premier League.

A move for Brentford striker Ivan Toney is improbable due to the high price tag, and the attacker has committed to staying at the Bees until the summer.

Meanwhile, Getafe have also ruled out the prospect of selling Borja Mayoral while it could take at least £50 million to prise away Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna.

With Financial Fair Play in mind, the Gunners may prefer a loan striker and, in our opinion, should launch an aggressive approach for Benzema.

According to Fichajes, the striker is unhappy at the Saudi Pro League champions, and Real Madrid, Lyon, and Manchester United are all interested in recruiting him on loan.

We feel the Gunners should pursue the Frenchman, who was outstanding for Real Madrid last season, scoring 31 goals and providing six assists in just 43 appearances.

He has added another 12 goals and five assists to his tally since joining Al-Ittihad on a free transfer last summer, but he is now considering a return to European football.

Benzema has long been linked with a move to Arsenal, and the club was first thought to be interested in signing him while he was still developing at Les Gones.

Arsenal has been linked with the club on numerous occasions since. This could be an excellent opportunity to sign him. A short-term agreement till the conclusion of the season would be great.
