Kylian Mbappe agents have sounded out Manchester City
Kylian Mbappe, the highly sought-after footballer, seems to be edging closer to a transfer to Real Madrid, as news surfaced that he is not extending his contract with Paris Saint-Germain. While the move appears imminent, there are still negotiations ongoing with Real Madrid, particularly regarding his potential involvement in the Olympics.
Despite Mbappe denying reports of a finalized agreement with Real Madrid during a recent gathering with the Emir of Qatar and French Prime Minister Emmanuel Macron, his mother and agent Fayza Lamari’s arrival in Madrid for house hunting suggests that the deal is reaching its conclusion.
Interestingly, it has come to light that Mbappe’s representatives reached out to Manchester City to explore potential options. However, it seems this was primarily to gauge the offers from Real Madrid’s competitors, serving as leverage in negotiations.
This aspect could prove crucial, especially concerning matters like image rights and Mbappe’s desire to participate in the Olympics, which are set to take place in his hometown of Paris this summer. Yet, this ambition clashes with Real Madrid’s preseason tour plans, which would undoubtedly benefit from Mbappe’s presence. Denying Mbappe the opportunity to participate in the Olympics could strain the initial stages of their relationship.
