From what He did yesterday,He has proven to me that He was the one that sacked Ten Hag and I am not going to allow that happen to me,is either He leaves in the summer or be relegated to team B”, Ruben Amorim furious with ONE Man United player over what He did against Arsenal last night – Not Maguire and not Zirkzee

“Based on what he did yesterday, it’s clear to me he was the one behind Ten Hag’s sacking, and I won’t let him do the same to me. Either he leaves in the summer or gets relegated to the B team,” Ruben Amorim reportedly fumed about a Manchester United player following their defeat to Arsenal. Surprisingly, the player in question isn’t Harry Maguire or Joshua Zirkzee.

Arsenal, meanwhile, secured their fourth consecutive victory over Manchester United across all competitions. Despite their high-profile attacking options, it was defenders Jurrien Timber and William Saliba who delivered the decisive blows at the Emirates.

Arsenal’s dominance from set-pieces has been a defining feature of their season, with no Premier League side scoring more than their seven goals from dead-ball situations. Timber and Saliba capitalized on corners to find the net, leaving United with little hope of a comeback.

The second goal followed an avoidable mistake by Marcus Rashford, who, under pressure from Martin Ødegaard, conceded a needless corner just minutes after coming on as a substitute. Bukayo Saka’s resulting in-swinging delivery bounced off Saliba and into the net, extending Arsenal’s lead to 2-0.

Manager Ruben Amorim was visibly furious with Rashford’s misstep, with journalist Samuel Luckhurst commenting on social media, “What was Rashford doing conceding that daft corner? Amorim looked furious at that.”

This defeat marks Amorim’s first loss since taking over at Manchester United and the team’s fifth league defeat this season, leaving them 11th in the table after 14 games. They now sit seven points behind fourth-placed Manchester City, who they face next in the highly anticipated Manchester derby.

Meanwhile, City regained form with a commanding 3-0 victory over Nottingham Forest, breaking a seven-game winless streak and building momentum ahead of the derby clash at the Etihad.
