Florentino Perez signs a third striker after Andric and Mbappe

Real Madrid is making significant moves in the transfer market, with club president Florentino Pérez poised to sign a third striker to join the ranks alongside Andrik and Kylian Mbappe. The confirmation of this new addition is expected in the coming days.

The arrival of Andrik and Mbappe is not the end of Real Madrid’s efforts to bolster their attacking line for the upcoming season. Under the guidance of manager Carlo Ancelotti, the team is preparing for an exceptionally demanding schedule, with more matches than they have ever faced in a single season.

According to journalist Mario Cortegana, Real Madrid has decided to secure the services of distinguished striker Joselu on a permanent basis. This decision, driven by President Pérez, is based on Joselu’s impressive performances this season while on loan at Real Madrid. Pérez believes that Joselu has demonstrated his full potential and deserves a permanent spot in the squad.

Cortegana reports that the decision to purchase Joselu’s contract was clear to the board of directors, and they have resolved to activate the purchase option. Joselu, who is currently on loan from Espanyol until June 30, 2024, will remain with Real Madrid once the club finalizes this transaction.

The agreement with Espanyol involves a transfer fee of €1.5 million, which will secure Joselu’s place in Ancelotti’s squad for the next season. This move underscores Real Madrid’s commitment to strengthening their team depth as they aim to compete at the highest level across all competitions.
