Pep Guardiola is communicating with the Real Madrid star to finalize his transfer to Manchester City

There have been reports that Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City, has reached out to one of Real Madrid’s star players in an attempt to persuade him to join Manchester City.

Previously, numerous reports have suggested that Rodrygo, the Real Madrid forward, might be relegated to a substitute role next season, especially after the club’s official signing of French striker Kylian Mbappe.

Journalist Jose Felix Diaz, associated with the newspaper “Marca” and the “El Chiringuito” YouTube program, commented on the situation: “There are two important aspects concerning Rodrygo Goes’ future. Firstly, the club isn’t completely shutting the door on him, and secondly, Rodrygo himself hasn’t ruled out the possibility of leaving.”

He further mentioned, “I’ve been informed that Guardiola recently contacted Rodrygo, but I can’t confirm this with absolute certainty. The player is feeling uneasy, and we’ll have to see how things develop. Some minor incidents occurred last week.”

Diaz concluded by stating, “The outcomes of the European Super Cup and the first match in the Spanish League will significantly influence Rodrygo’s future.”

Rodrygo recently fueled speculation about his future during an interview before the Champions League final. When asked, “All of Europe wants you, but do you want to stay at Madrid forever?” he responded, “Yes, well… anything can happen… I have a contract here. But the years I’ve spent here have been enjoyable.”

British reports noted that Real Madrid officials were displeased with Rodrygo’s comments, although the player later issued a clarification.
