Real Madrid poised to make first offer to Bayern Munich for Alphonso Davies
In recent weeks, there has been considerable speculation swirling around the future prospects of Alphonso Davies. Rumors have been circulating, particularly in recent days, suggesting that Davies has informally agreed to join Real Madrid. The Spanish giants are reportedly keen on securing his services for the upcoming summer transfer window and are actively engaged in negotiations to make it happen.
Bayern Munich, understandably, is reluctant to see Davies depart when his contract expires in a year’s time. However, the club appears to be gradually coming to terms with the possibility of his departure this summer. Consequently, Real Madrid is hopeful of brokering a deal with Bayern Munich, potentially at a discounted rate. Reports from Cadena SER indicate that Real Madrid is in the process of formulating their initial offer.
According to insider information, Real Madrid is considering proposing a figure in the region of €35 million to Bayern Munich, whereas the German club is holding out for a higher fee, closer to €50 million. Additionally, Real Madrid is prepared to present Davies with a four-year contract, extending his stay at the club until the culmination of the 2027–2028 season.
Sources suggest that Real Madrid is increasingly confident, with a reported 90 percent optimism, that they will successfully conclude a deal for Davies this summer. Should this materialize, it would be viewed as another astute move by Real Madrid president, Florentino Perez, who is also heavily linked with the potential acquisition of Kylian Mbappe.
