‘He’s not injured he was just Sick’… Pep Guardiola confirms £54m Man City player is almost back to his best
Guardiola confirms £54 million. The Manchester City player is almost back to his best form.
Pep Guardiola provided an encouraging injury report to one of Manchester City’s top players.
Manchester City defeated Brentford 1-0 on Tuesday, thanks to a late goal from Erling Haaland, to return to winning ways.
With the victory, Pep Guardiola’s side moved up to second position in the Premier League, one point behind champions Liverpool. If City defeats Bournemouth on Saturday, they may go up to first place as well.
Instead of competing in the league this weekend, Jurgen Klopp’s team will compete in the Carabao Cup final against Chelsea.
This provides City with a huge opportunity on the south coast, and it appears Kevin De Bruyne may be involved.
Guardiola stated that the talented Belgian did not even warm up for Tuesday’s play, instead to remain on the bench due to a hamstring strain.
ADVANCED CITY STORIES.
Although the Blues manager did not want to take a gamble on De Bruyne so soon after his lengthy layoff, he did deliver a positive report on Friday.

Regarding Kevin De Bruyne, Pep Guardiola provides an update.
At this point in a player’s career, you must carefully manage their productivity and fitness to avoid permanently burning them out.
De Bruyne is a terrific player when he’s on the pitch, as seen by his performance since his recovery. However, if City overworks him, he may be unable to play for long periods of time.
The £54 million player missed the first half of the season after returning from a prior hamstring injury prematurely at the start of the year.
The wisest course of action is probably to simply remark “easy does it,” but fortunately, his condition appears to be improving.
