VERY SAD NEWS Has been announced for Manchester City Playmaker Kevin De Bruyne this evening by Pep Guardiola after 1-0 victory against Brentford

With a 1-0 victory over Brentford, Pep Guardiola provides an update on Kevin De Bruyne’s injuries.
Manchester City’s Premier League manager, Pep Guardiola, has issued an update on Kevin De Bruyne’s injury.

It was unexpected to see the £400,000-per-week (Sport Rac) player on the bench before City’s 1-0 victory over Brentford.

It was surprise that Guardiola decided not start what is undoubtedly his best player on Tuesday night in a game critical to winning the Premier League title battle.

Pep Guardiola delivers an update on Kevin De Bruyne’s injuries.
Erling Haaland’s game-winning goal in the 71st minute tied the score at zero, therefore it was unexpected that Pep started Jeremy Doku off the bench instead of Kevin De Bruyne.

Nonetheless, it was natural to expect De Bruyne to take a knock considering that he was not called upon in any way.

Following Manchester City’s victory over Brentford, which moved them up to second place in the league, Pep Guardiola issued an update on Kevin De Bruyne’s claimed injury.

We were unable to hire Kevin [De Bruyne] today owing to hamstring issues; I did not want to take any chances with him, he stated [via HaytersTV].

“He’s okay, he’s okay, it’s just more caution and prevention that I think, but he didn’t feel comfortable, the doctor said it was a little risk, and I said, okay,” Pep Guardiola said in answer to inquiries regarding Kevin De Bruyne’s injury.

Kevin De Bruyne should not be put in danger at this point in the season.
An injury to Kevin De Bruyne would be terrible for Pep Guardiola and his team as Manchester City prepares to face tough opponents such as Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal, and Aston Villa in March.

De Bruyne is so crucial to this club that it would be understandable if fans and experts agreed that City was not a contender for the Premier League or the Champions League.

From a Sky Blues standpoint, one hopes the 32-year-old returns to full fitness as soon as possible, since if he is deemed injured in the future, his absence would be missed severely.
