“I called him on the phone to congratulate him, he’s a player i really love his attitude and commitments”- Real Madrid Star Jude Bellingham pours compliments on Arsenal’s guy who has scored more goals than Lewandowski and Vinicius Jr this season

World class? Rio Ferdinand, the former Manchester United defender, says Saka still needs to prove himself, but I don’t think he can do much more than what he has already done. He is already world-class and simply needs to keep proving it.

Ferdinand believes that the Arsenal winger is not just a quality player, but also has the capacity to establish himself world-class by leading Arsenal through the Champions League knockout stages. It’s unfortunate because Saka has been performing admirably for Arsenal for several seasons, but he only has the opportunity to play in the Champions League this season because it is the first time Arsenal has qualified since his arrival.

Arsenal has already demonstrated his abilities, and he has earned a starting berth on the team’s right wing. In fact, when he’s fit, no one at Arsenal can play the right flank like him. He is nearly “undroppable.”

Last season, he had an excellent league performance, scoring 14 goals and assisting 11 times. This established him as one of the Premier League’s most consistent and accomplished wingers. So far this season, it appears he’s simply continuing where he left off. He has ten goals and seven assists in 23 league games.

Given his league stats and the fact that he has three goals and four assists in five games in his Champions League debut, it is easy to claim he is a world-class talent.

Regardless, Rio Ferdinand believes the 22-year-old can only demonstrate his world-class abilities if he performs well in the forthcoming Champions League knockout rounds.

Rio on Vibe with Five said, “Not yet. Listen, I think Saka’s been incredible. I think he needs a break after playing so many games for such a young age. But I’m wondering, what exactly qualifies as world-class? He hasn’t done it in the Champions League, right? I’m getting down to the details. Don’t misunderstand me about Saka’s top. He isn’t world-class yet.”

Given Saka’s great performance in the Champions League and Arsenal’s current strong record, it appears that he will lead the Gunners to Champions League success. So, Arsenal winning the Champions League doesn’t seem that farfetched, right? Who could argue against Saka’s world-class performance if they win?

Arsenal will take on FC Porto in the Champions League round of 16 next Wednesday at the Stadio do Dragao. The second leg at the Emirates is slated for March 12th, and I am convinced Saka will continue to demonstrate his magnificence.
