Arsenal next Five fixtures compared to Liverpool, Manchester City and Aston villa as Arteta Men set to win their first premier league title under Arteta

Liverpool squandered an opportunity to go eight points clear at the top of the Premier League table when they were defeated by Arsenal.

Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli, and Leandro Trossard scored for the Gunners as Jurgen Klopp’s side suffered only their second defeat of the season. The Reds delivered a poor showing, paying the price for two blunders in the second half.

The Reds were behind after 13 minutes when Saka put the Gunners ahead. Liverpool were sliced open, and the England international stepped in to finish after Kai Havertz’s original shot was saved.

On the stroke of halftime, Luis Diaz’s perseverance was rewarded when the ball was scrambled across the line. However, halfway through the second half, Liverpool discovered.

Martinell couldn’t believe his luck when he tapped into an empty net after a mix-up between Alisson Becker and Virgil van Dijk. Ibrahima Konate was sent off for a second bookable offence after a vicious block on Kai Havertz, and Trossard added the last goal shortly later.

Manchester City could close the gap on Liverpool to three points with a win over Brentford on Monday. The Reds must respond against Burnley, and here’s how their Premier League schedule looks in the coming weeks.
