GOALLLLLLL: Bukayo Saka with overhead kick goal to make it 2-0 in favor of Arsenal

Arsenal will try to reduce the gap on league leaders Liverpool with a victory over Nottingham Forest at the City Ground tonight.

Mikel Arteta has made two changes to the squad that defeated Crystal Palace 5-0 last time out. David Raya remains in goal, forcing Aaron Ramsdale to settle for a bench spot once more.

Ben White remains at right-back while Takehiro Tomiyasu is gone for the Asian Cup, while Gabriel Magalhaes has been cleared to play after recovering from an ankle injury. The Brazilian plays with William Saliba in the Arsenal defense. Oleksandr Zinchenko retains his position at left-back, while Jacob Kiwior remains on the bench.

Gabriel Martinelli is recalled after scoring twice from the bench against Palace. Leandro Trossard will make way, while Bukayo Saka will remain on the right wing.

The Gunners’ front line is led by Gabriel Jesus, therefore Eddie Nketiah will have to make do with a berth as a replacement. Reiss Nelson and Jorginho are also named to the bench tonight.

Chris Wood is Forest’s main danger man up front, while Morgan Gibbs-White will also pose a threat in attack. Matt Turner starts in goal and will face his former team.
