Wednesday Morning Done Deal ✅: Arsenal completes the purchase of extremely talented midfielder who is considerably better than Man United Bruno Fernandez. Deal approved last night, unveiling will be done at London Colney this morning.

Fabrizio Romano, a reliable transfer journalist, has some news on Arsenal’s 2024 transfer intentions, stating that it is only a “matter of time” before they make a permanent deal for manager Mikel Arteta.

Arsenal seek to strengthen their squad in important areas.

The Gunners have been one of the least active sides in transfer window, due to a limited January budget and the added burden of complying with Financial Fair Play regulations.

While Arteta is believed to be interested in signing a new full-back, midfielder, and striker (Miguel Delaney), their extravagant spending last summer puts them in a slightly more precarious situation this season.

Arsenal have been linked with a fair few star players regardless, with reports earlier this month suggesting that talks were held over a move for Everton star Amadou Onana.

In their search for a new full-back, they appear to be interested in Wolves’ Rayan Ait-Nouri. Indeed, Football Transfers recently stated that Arsenal’s approach for Ait-Nouri was denied, as Arteta aims to radically rebuild his fullback options.

There is also the little matter of a striker, with the Gunners rumored to be looking for a proven goalscorer. Prior to their 5-0 win against Crystal Palace last weekend, where Arsenal appeared re-energized, they had been struggling to convert many chances, which has been a major concern for them as the north Londoners seek their first league title in 20 years.

In a recent exclusive interview with FFC, club veteran Ray Parlour urged the team to sign a striker in particular.
