Arsenal should make an offer to recruit Paris Saint-Germain forward Goncalo Ramos on loan, with the option to buy at the end of the season.

Ramos was on the radar of several top European teams last summer following a fantastic season with Benfica and Portugal.

He was linked with several Premier League clubs, but Paris Saint-Germain eventually won the race to recruit him, initially on loan.

His €80 million buy clause was activated in November, but it is now reported by L’Equipe that he could head for the exit door in the current transfer window.

Les Parisiens are willing to listen to realistic proposals for the 22-year-old, who has fallen out of favour with manager Luis Enrique since December.

Arsenal is unlikely to be able to afford to buy him outright due to Financial Fair Play concerns, but they might offer him a loan with a buy clause.

The French champs may not be opposed to the notion, but they may prefer a buy clause with terms that make him more likely to be sold.

In that case, they would be able to use the funds in the summer to balance their books as well as focus on the purchase of another striker if Kylian Mbappe leaves.

Meanwhile, Ramos has just four goals and one assist for Paris Saint-Germain, but he has played only 888 minutes across all competitions for the capital outfit.
